“Healthy minds, healthy bodies” could be the theme at parent-teacher conferences at Greene County Middle School Tuesday and Thursday, Oct. 16 and 18.
Staff from the Greene County public heath department will host a flu shot clinic during the conferences, from 4:30 to 7:30 each day.
The cost is $35 per injection. Flu shots are billable to Medicare, Medicaid, Title 19, Blue Cross Blue Shield and other private insurance. Public health staff reminds people to bring their insurance card to the flu shot clinic.
The Centers for Disease Control recommend all persons over the age of 6 months get a flu shot before the end of October each year.
